Services -> Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a hands-on physiotherapy approach used to assess and treat problems affecting muscles, joints, soft tissues, and movement.
At Physio Point, our physiotherapists use appropriate manual techniques based on the patient's condition, symptoms, physical assessment, and rehabilitation goals.
Manual therapy may help reduce pain and muscle tension, improve joint mobility, increase flexibility, reduce stiffness, and support better movement and function. Depending on the patient's needs, techniques may include soft tissue techniques, joint mobilization, stretching, and other hands-on treatment approaches.
Manual therapy is often combined with therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, posture and movement education, and functional rehabilitation to provide a comprehensive treatment plan.

Manual therapy may be used as part of rehabilitation for:

  • Back and neck pain
  • Shoulder pain and stiffness
  • Knee and other joint problems
